Nestled in the Boreal Forest of Northern Manitoba lies a trio of picturesque communities called The Pas, Opaskwayak Cree Nation and the RM of Kelsey. Surrounded by lakes and forests, coined "Adventure Territory"; I have been lucky to call this place home for all of my life and make the most of what our communities have to offer. The passion I have for the beauty all around us, and in people, has been my driving force on the journey to becoming a trusted photographer in our region and beyond.
The blue waters at Clearwater Lake; the grunge feel rocks where I grew up at Rocky Lake, the trails and golden sunsets in between the vast and dense green forests... they all provide the ideal backdrop for the image everyone wants to share with their family and friends. The best things missing from those scenes are the smiling faces of the moms and dads, the chunky cheeks of your littles, the missing tooth gaps of your middles or the sparks flying between two people in love.
First and foremost, I'm a mom to three big, bad, beautiful babies. Ranging in age from toddler to teenager, they most definitely keep me on my toes and each day brings new experiences and challenges and SO. MUCH. LOVE! I have a revolving door of beloved fur babies and my motto when it comes to pets seems to be "there's always room for more"!
I am a romantic at heart, I believe in happily ever after's and true love. Some of my favourite things are coffee, books, laughing and staring at the moon. Though I don't do it enough, I love to travel and see new places and experience new things. Adventure is the spice of life and I can find adventure even in the most mundane of places. I have a wonderful partner, Steve, who loves anything outdoors and he is the most efficient and resourceful bushman I have ever known. My sense of direction is non-existent but not all who wander are lost!
I very much look forward to hearing from and getting to know you.

I am bound and determined to find (and keep) her. When I purchased my camera, it was a time in my life when I felt buried in the demands and monotonous routine of parenting a very young baby. I heard myself asking, "what can I do for me?" and the answer came in the form of creating something that can stand the test of time, that can be loved and remembered by generations to follow and that can bring joy to others
Every person: man or woman, adult or child, and everything in-between, should have an outlet that fuels their soul. Mine has always been connection with people, and seeing the connection between people. That is what I strive to capture in time, is real connection. Loving, nurturing, tender and true connection. So, in between work both outside and inside our home, taking care of my babies, reading books and drinking coffee, you can find me out in the wilderness cracking STALE jokes, sometimes falling down, and clicking the shutter button to my heart's content.
